Asadh Mein - Album Cover

In India, particularly in rural regions, the first rain of the monsoon season is a much-anticipated event, celebrated with joy. This month, known as Asadh, symbolizes the onset of rain and the beauty of nature it brings, often referenced in Bengali literature, music, and culture.

Inspired by this sentiment, Kavish Seth, an Indie musician, composed the song Asadh Mein, for which Zubaan commissioned a cover illustration. The artwork draws inspiration from Nirala Bidesia, a character depicted in the music video, who dances and revels in the arrival of Asadh, surrounded by the vibrant colors of nature. This illustration captures the essence of celebration and the beauty of the monsoon season.
